Papa Francisco morreu na madrugada desta segunda-feira, 21 de abril, aos 88 anos, em sua residência oficial, a Casa Santa Marta, no Vaticano. Jorge Mario Bergoglio, nascido em Buenos Aires, na Argentina, foi o primeiro pontífice latino-americano, ao suceder Bento XVI em 2013. Marcado por sua simplicidade e simpatia, Francisco era um profundo admirador do futebol, torcedor do San Lorenzo de Almagro e fã de Pelé.
